TREATMENTS
LIP FILLER
This involves superficially injecting cross-linked hyaluronic acid into the lips in order to create volume and shape. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally produced in the body, and is known for its ability to hold 1000x it's weight in water. When the HA is cross- linked it becomes a thick gel like substance, and can be more difficult for the body to break down. The thick gel allows us to create volume, while the slow breakdown helps us retain results for longer.
All lip filler used in the clinic contains lidocaine, which is a local anaesthetic. In addition to this, topical lidocaine is applied to the lips prior to treatment to ensure clients are as comfortable as possible. Afterwards you will be provided will a cold pack to help with any swelling you may experience.
SKIN BOOSTERS - BIO REJUVENATION
Skin boosters are essentially like an injectable moisturiser - but much better! With a topical moisturiser we can only add moisture to the top layers of the skin, whereas with boosters we add moisture to the deeper layers of the skin.Skin boosters use hyaluronic acid, which is naturally occuring in the skin, and deplets as we age. Loss of hyaluronic acid and collagen are some of the main culprits to our skin aging, becoming dull and lacking in life. Skin boosters provide a "glow from within", and some plumpness to the skin. They are also known to stimulate collagen production.
Skin boosters can be used on the face yo add an overall glow and hydration, or to add glow and plumpness. They can also be used to target crows feet, brighten dark under eyes as well as adding plumpness to neck and décolletage, and hands.
A full course of treatments are over 2-3 sessions, depending on client need and product used. A topup will be required every 6 months to maintain results.
ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
Commonly known as the brand name "botox", anti-wrinkle injections are superficial injections of botulinum toxin type A.
Botulinum toxin type A is a prescription only medication commonly used to treat and prevent facial wrinkles (but not limited to!). It works by blocking the signal from the nerve to the targeted muscle, preventing or reducing its movement. As dynamic lines (lines on movement or facial expression) are caused by muscle movement - no or reduced movement means no dynamic lines. As we age we also experience a loss of collagen and skin elasticity, which can result in static lines - or lines visible when the face is at rest. These lines cannot be removed by botulinum toxin type A, but you will likely see an improvement.Botulinum toxin type A can be used as a preventative treatment, reducing the likelihood of developing static lines.

My name is Christina - I am a nurse, partner and mother of one little monster who is my world. I have always had a keen interest in the beauty industry, although was never brave enough to step into it professionally. Thats until I considered aesthetics - it felt like the perfect blend of my two loves - the beauty industry and (when used for good) it's ability to make us feel like the best version of ourselves, and nursing and my natural ability to make people feel at ease under my care. My mission is to make those that step into my clinic feel cared for, listened to and a part of every step of the process.
